Happy new year everyone! I’m back with a brand new me who have just reduced drama things in life by leaving, keeping, facing, solving, and enjoying problems. We can never leave the drama because it is a part of life. The core point is that stop being so over-dramatic. That’s it.
The more you get older, the more you get selective over things. There will be no time for those who don’t deserve your time. Let us give our time to worthy things such as our priority. The priority comes when you have responsibilities like family, job, and society that needs our contribution, also a true friendship. Life is dynamic, it changes overtime, and we need to deal with it. Release the things which bother you, so it can help you to step lightly and to focus on your life’s goals.
Friendship is so basic. Michelle Obama says:
“We should always have three friends in our lives-one who walks ahead who we look up to and follow; one who walks beside us, who is with us every step of our journey; and then, one who we reach back for and bring along after we’ve cleared the way.”
Your true friends are not only about the ones who always stand and exist for you to help, because it is beyond that. Friends are your role model, your partner in daily life, and the ones that need to be brought with you. Make friends with people around you because every person on this earth is our friend except the ones that bring you down, treat you like you’re nothing for them. Friendship is about the quality that we can create among others, not about the numbers containing group of people with less values.
One more quotation from an article published in HuffPost by Jamie Scanlon:
One thing I’ve found in my own experience is that my close circle of friends has continued to narrow down as I age. My spare time is spent with those who I truly love and care about; the conversations are full of meaning, full of fun, full of laughter. Sure, there are the hard times, there are the moments where the lows are lows, but these are balanced out with the high highs. The key word there, being balance.
Thank you 🙂
